Bye Bye Showers, Hello Flowers!

Wow! We’ve finally made it to May! Time to kiss the spring showers goodbye and say hello to May flowers! The air is feeling fresher and milder, and a little more daylight and vitamin D is definitely feeling good for the soul. We’ve been keeping busy this past month at the shop. We took Two of Hearts to Toronto at the end of March for the One of a Kind Show. It was great to make some new fans. Thanks Toronto for showing some LOVE for Two of Hearts! We also just finished wrapping up our annual spring sample sale at the shop, which was a blast, and huge success! So thanks everyone for coming out. Mother’s Day is coming up this Sunday so hopefully we can inspire you to get mom a little treat. The production front is still working hard and there are still new spring styles coming in every week. Here’s the scoop on some awesome new spring must haves.
Comfy Casual Tops
Go tribal with the Inca top ($68), or nautical with the Mayan top ($59) by Savvie. So easy to wear, another great spin on the “funky basic”. You’ll be stylin’ while feeling unique.

Fabulous Spring Bottoms

Spring Ahead! What’s New in March

Spring ahead into more daylight? Yes please! Hope you adjusted well last weekend. This means that we are one step closer to spring, then summer!!! This time of year is always exciting at the shop as we seem to be getting in new styles every week. Here are just a few: Go tribal this spring! Pair the Peruvian top (Brown tribal, Navy Tribal), ($65), or the Eldorado dress (Black tribal, Brown tribal), ($125) by Savvie, with some chunky wood jewelery by Billy Would for that hot “Africana Mama” look.
For a more classical put together look match the Maggie wrap top ($75) by CiCi (Royal, Floral), with the Gwendalyn skirt ($118) by Two of Hearts (Grey, Navy). The Gwendalyn skirt is made from luscious tencel, and will leave you feeling like you’re floating on air.

Dress for a Wedding?

The spring and summer seasons are always a popular time for weddings. Of course you would expect that most people who live in our dreary “Raincouver” would only want to celebrate such an occasion in the glorious, glowing sunshine. We would. At Two of Hearts, we can’t tell you the number of people we get every spring/summer season that come in looking desperate to find “a dress to go to a wedding!” We have been doing our best to listen to our fabulous customers and try to do some dressier pieces. These are some of our favorite dresses for the season.
The Roxanne dress (black) by Two of Hearts is a more casual but comfortable dress for those girls who want to be “simply chic”. Made from bamboo rayon, with it’s vine like leaf print and simple satin elastic belt, it’s sure to become one of those dresses you live in.
The Zena dress (gray blue) by Two of Hearts is a more structured edgy look. You’ll be sitting cool in 100% organic cotton while this dress commands the attention of your friends.
The Alanna (turquoise) and Sophia (green) dresses by CiCi exude a more elegant look. With their draped cowl neck, cross over wrap, and perfectly draped circle skirts these dresses will be sure to flatter any body type.
